Emily Graves spoke with Joy Farrington about the release of her book, human trafficking and working with people in the sex industries

Emily: So what are your hopes for the future?

Joy: I just want to do this for life. My passion is to see lives restored that have been exploited: I really want to work with women who have been sexually exploited and see restoration for them and restoration of creativity as well in that process. So my hopes for the future are just to do that: to be able to love well and to see purity restored in our nation.

Emily: So what is your prayer for the world of prostitution and human trafficking?

Joy: I was thinking about this earlier, this whole area that I think sucks. It is such a battle for purity. My prayer is that we would see purity restored, because if we see the desire for purity restored we also see the end of sexual exploitation, because people who desire purity don't desire to exploit somebody for sex. That is my prayer that we would see the value for purity and the desire for purity restored worldwide.
