Emily Graves spoke with Kerry Cole about her new novel, the reality of the supernatural and the consequences of our choices.

Kerry: Yes, I am enjoying sleep very much.

Emily: What are some of your plans for the future? Do you see yourself writing another novel?

Kerry: I've had brilliant responses from people. People have said it's one of the most emotionally charged books they have ever read; that it has great insight into life and it's truly absorbing. You find yourself caring for the characters, that it is honest and bold and daring and that people can identify with the characters and say 'Oh that's me'. I have already written 8,000 words of a sequel. I do believe there will be a sequel, but I haven't really got the shape of it at all. I'm very glad of that because once I get the shape I'll just go and I'm enjoying sleeping.

Emily: So how can we get hold of a copy of the book and also find out more?

Kerry: Well at the moment it's only available on Amazon. If you just type Exit Darcus into Amazon, it will come up. You can order a paperback that comes direct from Amazon on 'print on demand'. They are brilliant, they turn it around quickly. I've ordered one; if I want one I have to order it myself off Amazon, but I think mine have arrived pretty much within 24 to 48 hours. Also you can get a Kindle version and you can get it with an iPhone. If you just type into Google how to do it, you can get the free Kindle app and just download it into your iPhone, or iPad.
