Jaci Velasquez teams up with Mike Roe for second album

MIKE ROE of alternative rock pioneers the 77's, is a surprise contributor on the second album by Jaci Velasquez, already being tipped by many to be one of THE big selling albums of 1998. There's also talk of a new 77's album, to be recorded fragmentally, as time and budget permit.

"I don't know when we can expect that out," explained Roe. "We'll be making the record gradually, piece by piece. I'm tired of waiting for record companies to take interest in us, so we're going to - again - bring the music to the people ourselves."
