What if God provided you with everything and every tool you need to not only double your youth/student work but to transform your entire area?

See Mark 6:8 the Message Bible. 'You don't need a lot of equipment. You are the equipment and all you need to keep that going is three meals a day'.

Don't wait to become a leader, LEAD! Lead and influence the young people around you. Do not wait until you reach whatever you think the magic age of leadership is.

In 2001 our youth leadership team made a decision to go on and hold a youth conference in Bradford. Just a month before the conference, the unthinkable happened and there was a massive riot in the city of Bradford. Millions of pounds of damage occurred overnight. But our incredible young people decided they were going to do whatever it would take to reach their generation despite the odds and challenges.

They bonded together, invited their friends for the next few weeks and Rocknations was born. Less than a hundred young people came, but it was awesome.

This year we celebrated our 10th anniversary of Rocknations with thousands of young people in attendance and many becoming Christians. Podcasts, TV and radio programmes, resources and music CDs go out from the conference to reach millions of young people around the world. But here's the point - what if in 2001 those few young people quit on holding a conference where Jesus would be the main focus? What if they quit because parents, the media and politicians said it was impossible to reach their generation? What if that first conference was aborted before it even started?

What if the dream you have today in your heart is mixed with faith and actioned? What would happen if you dare to believe that God could use your talent, your time and your teaching to change a generation?

What if you truly believed that inside your heart is Christ in you, the hope of glory? What if you discover that God will finish the perfect work he has started in you?

You are the church right now. I am praying and looking forward to you stepping out into action. I respect your courage and want you to remember that God is for you and because God is for you, nobody can be against you.
