Acts 11:19-26

It was here at the edge of the known realm of civilization that the amazing grace of God evidenced itself when people showed grace to ex murderers like Saul. Result - the name Christian was revealed for the first time. Question - how much more could youth ministries and churches reflect God's amazing grace? Do we welcome the strangers that Jesus talked about in Mt 25:35? If so, than we are worthy of the name, Christian. If not, we have some more changing to do! The Antioch church became huge in size and influence because of their ability to share God's grace.

The question I have asked myself again and again is how can I help my local church to reflect the awesome amazing nature of God more effectively? Answer - everyday I have chosen to be a grace giver not a grace killer. Have you chosen to be a grace giver?
