Original Prayer

Please pray for the restoration, reconciliation and healing of my relationship with my son, Michael, from a previous marriage which ended in 1978. I have made several attempts to communicate with him over the years and have made a number of apologies for possible wrongs. But when I have called him or spoke with him he would refuse to respond in any way and for whatever reason. He just did not and would not talk with me. So with me in Oregon and he in Mississippi the miles, as well as his unwillingness to talk kept us at a distance. Today, he has a wonderful wife Jessica and a son, Austen. But I know neither of them. I emailed him 2-3 times and asked if I could travel to see him and his family. He would only come up with an excuse as to why he or I couldn’t do that. This will require some Divine intervention. Please pray!

Father,In the name of Jesus, we come to you in ur throne of grace with hearts, full of thanksgiving, for families you created as a prize to Yourself. We know that the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) but you came to give us life in abundance. We commit Jim, Michael, Jessica and Austen into your hands, Lord. We stand in the gap for the forgiveness of every grudge, hatrade, misunderstanding for one another, and we repent on their behalf, for the Bible says without repentance there is no remission of sin. We pray that this family accept you as their Lord and Saviour, We cover them with the blood of Jesus. Give unto this family the most needed abundant life and love. We break the power of confusion in their midst in Jesus name. May the anointing of Christ remove every burden and bring PEACE into the hearts of the members of this beloved family and bring everlasting RESTORATION, to your glory. And as God the Father is full of DEEP and UNSHAKABLE Happiness, be rest assured, Jim, that when you seek your happiness in Him, you will not find a frustrated, irritable Father who wants to be left alone, but instead a Father whose heart is full of JOY, it spills over unto all the thirsty. Isaiah 35 is saying to all who are weary and broken hearted NOT TO BE AFRAID, that the Lord your GOD will come and save you, in Jesus mighty name , Amen
