I have just received a message from my friend J- his younger brother D passed away from cancer yesterday. Lord i pray for your comfort for the remaining family. Receive D into your arms.

Last night my friend M texted me becos her mum (who is elderly and frail), is suffering badly with her heart. I pray Lord, for your healing touch. Amen

Hi God, its me again; i have lots on my mind right now. Yesterday my friend L found out that she has had an abnormal result on her cervical smear test. she is concerned about it. she is only 26, and in relatively good health but is very worried. i pray for her, she has to have another test done soon. a 13 year old girl, B, was raped and became pregnant as a result. The baby didn't survive, and B has thoughts about hurting herself (she hasn't actually done anything about it, but i am worried becos i myself experienced self-harm and suicide attempts for many years, and becos of that i know that it often starts with a thought in your mind about doing it). Another lady i know, C, is struggling with depression and doesn't feel motivated to pray. she was treated for Bipolar earlier this year with an anti-psychotic and even tho' they took her off it in July, she says that she feels very flat and has lost her creativity (she is talented at needlecrafts). In Jesus's name, i pray for these 3 women, for healing and release for their minds, souls and bodies. Amen

a friend, W, is depressed and says that he has feels hopeless, but hasn't the guts to end his life. he is in so much pain right now. lord i pray for him right now, to know your comfort. i want to tell him how you set me free from the same problem, but i don't want him to feel like i'm ramming the Gospel down his throat. But the only way through this is Jesus, and i don't feel he will get well without Jesus. Help me to be a good friend and witness for you, God. in Jesus's precious name.

lord, i thank you that L has got a place in Mercy Ministries in USA to treat her Anorexia and related problems. i know she is finding it a bit frightening being there. i pray that you will calm the storm within her, and bring her into healing and restoration. Give her Beauty for Ashes, instead of mourning and depression.

Lord i bring to you all of us who are in this place right now, where we want to love you with our whole hearts and lives, but there seem to be walls, or barriers in the way. i pray especially for J and myself who are questioning and doubting so much right now, to the point of frustration and despair. Thank you for your grace and mercy, please let us experience it again in its fullness, and bring us peace. In Jesus name, i pray. Amen

Lord i pray for Adam C. I pray that you would be at work healing him. Take away his pain. Let the burns heal up. Help him recover quickly. Don't let him be emotionally scarred by what happened to him at the weekend. Ease his suffering please Lord Amen

Lord I pray for my step-mum who is ill. She is in a lot of pain and the doctors don't know why. Please stop the pain and bring her healing so that she can continue serving you.

Please help me to pray for two people, firstly a colleague who is experiencing mental ill health which means she can't be given the work she wants to do, and secondly for her (and my) manager (who is also my friend) who is in a very difficult situation as she is trying to balance the needs of my colleague and the clients we work with.
