Open the mail

I am an American who was formerly an Airman (USAF) stationed in the UK for three years back in the mid 80s. My section leader was a man of faith (as am I) and he one day told me that God had given him a message for me. He said that the message was 'Open the mail'. I have since been on the lookout for what this could mean. It's been 35 years and I'm no closer to knowing. I happened upon this site while researching the band 'Honest Men'. I like what you all are trying to achieve! I am wondering if your discernment room is a step towards a message, an understanding, a lesson or a revelation that God had put in motion decades ago and may now come to fruition? Thank you for any discernment you may have.

Sometimes we can get to focused on what the enemy is doing and take our eyes off God. I have had fifteen years with a lung problem and it has just come to a head, I used to attend the URC but felt lead to go to the nearest Anglican Church. I have spent a lot of time at Ellel Ministries,but have just visisted our local Anglican Living Well to see what this lung problem is and the Holy Spirit said it is a physical problem (ie Chronic Lung Problem) he also said that I am to stop trying to find answers formyself but to rest in him and I will be able to overcome it. Another dear friend said the Lord is taking me a different way than her, she also has been to Ellel Ministries and the Lord is cleaning her up. God works in mysterious ways, Lets keep LOOKING TO THE ROCK FROM WHICH WERE WROUGHT. Many Blessings Glynis.

2 YRS AGO ME AND MY CHILDRENS MOTHER SEPERATED WE WERE INGAGED TO BE MARRIED AT THAT TIME I PRAYED FOR AN ANSWER FROM GOD FOR SOME TRUTH GOD GRANTED ME SOME INSIGHT ON THE SITUATION. HE PROMISED ME WE WILL BE MARRIED BY THE YEAR OF 2008 HE CLEARLY TOLD ME THAT SHE WILL BE EXPLORING TO FIND HER HAPPINESS IN THE MEAN TIME AT THE TIME I DID NOT KNOW IT WOULD HURT. NOW THE CLOSER TO THE PROMISE THE FURTHER AWAY IT LOOKS BUT GOD TOTALY SAID HE WILL GET ALL THE GLORY THAT THIS PROMISE WILL BE THE MIRACLE THAT ALL SHALL KNOW THAT IT WAS ALL GOD. PRAY FOR ME THAT I WILL BE OF GOOD COURAGE AT MOVE FORWARD IN THE THINGSM OFF CHRIST.

I have been struggling with my own selfish goals in life. Through reading certain passages in the Bible I have come to realise that Marriage should not be the ultimate goal of our lives. It must be a truly wonderful and God-blesses experience to be married to a spouse who also believes in the Lord. But I feel that people, including some Christians believe that life is made perfect through marriage. It is only made perfect through Christ's love and peace. I really want to be married to a lovely woman when i am older, but i don't know if this is God's plan for me. I really want to have a family when I'm older but i should put my faith and goals in Jesus, because he has a completely different perspective on how are lives will pan out. God Bless to all of you. God is Faithful. He asks a question when he comes will he find faith in the Earth? Are we, as Ambassadors of the Kingdom of Heaven acting like true representatives of that nearby longed for land? God is still a healer. He is still a deliverer. He still draws nigh unto us when we draw nigh unto Him. He is still the living water. He still answers when we call. The good news of the Gospel is that the Kingdom of God is within us. We have this heavenly treasure in earthen vessels. Guard your mind from the negativity that is around you and remember who God says you are. A chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. Hold fast to the profession of your faith. When the bell rings and the winner's hand is held up, it will be the Child of God who stands victorious. For that battle was fought and won on the cross when our Lord said It Is Finished. He came out of the grave and so have we come with him. We are now hidden in the heavenly places with him. No weapon that is formed against us will prosper. We get front row seats at the "Watch God Work a Miracle Show!! Marvel not that you have authority over devils and demons but marvel that God has found us worthy to write our names in the lamb's book of life.

I was sitting in church yesterday, the preacher was touching on just about everything else but the word of God, worst yet...serving infomation from the platform that had no spiritual nutrtional substance. To me, the message was all about the so-called rightous opinions that they are "right" and everyone outside of their belief system is "wrong" and it became more disappointing as the sermon continued: praise danceers, types of music in the religious arena, gospel hip-hop etc.etc. I say to myself "like...where is the motivation, the inspiration, the challenge to reach out to the lost...to become closer to our GOD, the passion for Him and what He has called us to do. WOW!!!! When I think of this, I have to shake my head in unbelief!!! I've had dreams about this individual and this organization that left and impression that this alliance is something other than "HOLY". (I don't claim to be perfectly Holy and rightous) I acknowledge the fact that I have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD on many an occassions, and I thank Him for His mercy). Been in this organization for about 20 year, give or take a few. What has transpired in this duration of time is setbacks and dissappointments. I've come to the conclusion that by these dreams, that it is time to move out of this organization and move on. Time is to be valued and used in the respect of wisdom.

I believe that God is calling people from all current generations to rise up in prayer and to walk into the ground they take in that prayer. I believe we are just seeing the beginings of what God wants to do in this country but that the amount accomplished will be relative to level of prayer, and God is calling all of us myself included to get down on our knees and cry out for this nation and then to walk into what we have conquered and claimed in the heavenlies.

Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion" -- ROMANS 1:27...LORD JESUS, I pray for all who have difficulty submitting themselves to You as Your creation. As you have said in Your Word and done by Your Hand, male AND female you created them, and that You rested on the seventh day means that Your creation work is finished and absolute. LORD God Almighty, by Your Mercy and Love I pray that You would pierce the darkness that surround us and the people who are still bound by this deception of Satan with Your glorious Light. I pray that they would join us in seeking Your Kingdom first and Your righteousness rather than our own sefish desires. I pray that the rights we would fight for are freedom to love and worship you and not establish altars and laws for ourselves. I pray that we would all be grateful for the beauty of creation, instead of being discontented. By the Blood of the Lamb who sits on the Throne, cleanse and cover us. By the mighty and most precious Name of Jesus I pray. AMEN
