Dear Cousin, To some extent I understand your dilemma. Having pastored myself I know the need for companionship in leadership. Time will teach you that the one you have history with, Greta, is the one who will bring the most satisfaction, especially when reflecting on the past. There are always two sides. But righteousness demands a choice that will honor God finally. It takes a while, but trust can be restored and one can learn to love again. My heart goes out to you in honest and compassionate love. If you are honest wisely with your ministry following, they will forgive and receive you warmly. I pray you will remember your family heritage, eespecially on the MacAlmon side.
