Gospel veterans The Mighty Clouds Of Joy celebrate 45 years in gospel with new live album.
LEGENDARY gospel quartet The Mighty Clouds Of Joy are celebrating 45 years in music with their new album for EMI Gospel. The group recorded the project live during a special concert at The Fountain Of Praise Hillcroft Worship Center in Houston, Texas, on 1st December. The album was produced by Sanchez Harley. Said the group's lead singer, Joe Ligon, "There's a lot of different styles that have come together over the years to create what people know s the 'trademark' Clouds sound and we want to hit on a lot of those high spots on this album. Sanchez, myself and the entire group, as well as EMI Gospel, are all absolutely intent on making this the definitive Mighty Clouds Of Joy album to date."

Mr. Joe Ligon you might remember my mother from a concert that you had to come to st. louis for. you were standing in the back of the auditorium behind a table and she came over and you said "it sure is a lot of people" and she said "it sure is", then you gave her a compliment on her dress (it was black sequence) then my aunt came over to you and said "Hi Joe" and Stella was also in the show with you all, but my mother and her si ster did not get a chance to sing. But she said you all sang "make a step"
oh and my mother's name is Lovie Patterson but her name then was Lovie Barnes
