ERITREAN gospel singer Helen Berhane, who was tortured and
detained without charge for two years in her homeland, has been
granted asylum in Denmark. After an international campaign she was
released in December 2006 and fled with her sister to the Sudanese
capital, Khartoum, before being granted asylum. Ms Berhane uses a
wheelchair because of severe injuries to her legs and feet sustained
in prison beatings.

Delighted to hear that this amazing witness for Christ is free and living in Europe.
May God bless and be with her as she starts a new life in a new country and perhaps once the dust settles on her life, and if she is able - it would be great to welcome her to Scotland, as a witness for Christ of course - but also to sing.
Does anyone know how if this could be arranged and how to go about it
