Ezra Collective comment on Mercury Prize win
THE BRITISH Christian jazz band Ezra Collective are celebrated in the latest issue of Premier Christianity magazine. Speaking to journalist Pete Mooney the band's drummer Femi Koleoso said, "If a jazz band winning the Mercury Prize doesn't make you believe in God I don't know what will."
Ezra Collective, a five-piece unit from London, won Album Of The Year for their 'Where I'm Meant To Be' set. Previous Mercury Prize winners have included Little Simz, Arlo Parks and Arctic Monkeys.
