Folk roots duo The Sweet Sorrows relocating to Wexford, Northern Ireland
POPULAR folk roots duo The Sweet Sorrows, who in recent years have performed mainly in USA and Canada, are relocating to Wexford, Northern Ireland. Sammy and Kylie Horner will be setting up home and studio there in May. Said Sammy, "We have two projects in hand, a trad style acoustic album and a solo album of spiritual songs from Kylie. Our 'trade-off' project (teaching trades/music/art in Thailand) will be involved in Mae Sot District with Burmese immigrants early in 2017. We are planning a new Sweet Sorrows project with Phil Madeira early in 2017. Also, we will be touring the USA from August until October then Switzerland and Germany in November and are planning a UK tour in 2017.
