Madam Ira Mae Littlejohn featured on vintage music compilation

SPECIALIST re-issue label Ace Records have released a compilation album highlighting the music recorded in marathon recording sessions before the second American Federation of Musicians recording ban took place in 1948. The compilation 'Beating The Petrillo Ban: The Late December 1947 Modern Sessions' showcases numerous mainstream R&B and jazz acts including Gene Phillips and Hadda Brooks as well as several recordings by gospel singer Madam Ira Mae Littlejohn.
