Britain's Joshua Luke Smith releases mixtape

BATH-based rapper and producer Joshua Luke Smith has released 'Beats & Pieces: Mixtape Vol 1'. Said Smith, "I made this project without any agenda at all and it was so freeing. Honestly, if no one likes it, that's okay. I fell back in love with hip-hop making this, I fell back in love with poetry, I fell back in love with creating, I fell back in love with pushing myself. I fell back in love with doing something without an agenda. Perfection and artistic excellence is good but it needs to be in context and in tension with creating without it so that you can never feel like you can only do it in one way."
