Pianist John Tesh sings on big band album

BEST SELLING pianist John Tesh has turned singer on his latest album, 'John Tesh Big Band Live'. Said Tesh, "I grew up as a trumpet player on Long Island. I was in a dance band all the way through college and we played this music. And we had this music in our house as a kid. I'd done the neo-classical, new-age piano thing and was trying to figure out what to do next, and my music director said, 'Why don't we all go back to our roots and do this? The big question is who's going to sing?' And I said, 'I can sing.'"
