Peter Furler to return with new band The Blissbombs

FOLLOWING his 22 years with CCM stars Newsboys and his 2011 successful solo album 'On Fire', Peter Furler has announced his new project will be 'Sun And Shield' by Peter Furler & The Blissbombs, released on New Day Records. The project will be released on 11th March and signals the collaboration between Furler and producer/lyricist Steve Taylor. The Blissbombs feature Dave Ghazarian (Superchick, Audio Adrenaline) on bass and Jeff Irizarry on drums. 'Sun And Shield' is said to "combine an ambitious collection of new songs with a more muscular, band-driven sound that harkens back to the glory days of 'Take Me To Your Leader'." CR
