Gaither Music Group score major hit with Bradley Walker
BLUEGRASS and country music singer/songwriter Bradley Walker has become a major hitmaker for Gaither Music Group. Walker's 'Call Me Old-Fashioned' debuted at number nine in America's Top Country Albums chart, number four in the Christian chart and number 155 in the mainstream Album chart. The project is the second solo album for the native of Athens, Alabama. 'Call Me Old-Fashioned' was produced by Rory Feek and recorded at the Joey+Rory studio on their farm. Walker had known Joey and Rory Feek since 2007 and was asked to sing the hymn "Leave It There" at Joey Feek's funeral in accordance with her wishes. Bill Gaither of the Gaither Music Group was also at the funeral, heard Walker's performance and signed Walker to his label. The album includes a posthumous duet with Joey Feek "In The Time That You Gave Me" recorded before her death.
