Vancouver-based The Sojourners release second album

VANCOUVER-based The Sojourners have released a followup to their 2007 debut 'Hold On'. 'The Sojourners' on Black Hen Records has received an enthusiastic review in Record Collector magazine. Read the review, "Backed by Mike Kalanj on the Hammond B3 and producer Steve Dawson's 'Pops' Staples-esque guitar playing, The Sojourners impressively flirt between the passionate fervour of "Brother Moses Smote The Water" and "Great Day", and reflective musings of The Violinaires' "Another Soldier Gone" and Reverend Gary Davis' "Death Don't Have No Mercy". Stirring stuff!" CR
