R&B legend Candi Staton attracts rave reviews for new album.

R&B AND GOSPEL diva Candi Staton has had her latest mainstream album 'His Hands' released in the UK to rave reviews. Candi's reading of the Will Oldham-penned title track has been particularly raved over with Mojo magazine calling it "a tour de force of domestic violence and religious redemption that's right up there in the pantheon with 'I See A Darkness'. Staton's mastery of more traditional material is no less imposing." The singer is making a lightning visit to the UK at the end of March including a date at London's Jazz Café on 27th March.
