Anita Kerr Singers' Christmas recordings re-issued

CHERRY RED Records have released a double album re-packaging the Anita Kerr Singers' 'On This Holy Night' with Chet Atkins' 'Christmas With Chet Atkins'. Kerr, the renowned singer, arranger, composer, conductor, pianist and producer, has recorded dozens of albums and arranged such million-selling hits as Skeeter Davis' "End Of The World" and Roy Orbison's "Only The Lonely". Legendary producer and guitarist Atkins said about Kerr, "She gave a sophistication and smoothness to country music that made it so much more palatable to audiences all over the world."

Other recordings by the Anita Kerr Singers have been compiled alongside tracks by easy listening singer Patti Page on the album 'Christmas Can't Be Far Away', released by ARA Records.
