SIR CLIFF RICHARD and TV vicar Steve Chalke are joining Archbishop George Carey, Cardinal Basil Hume and other church leaders to urge churches across the country to "get fit" for the new millennium by completing a specially prepared "health check"; then working hard over the next 18 months to get in shape. Sir Cliff and Steve are backing Making Sunday Best, a practical resource to help local churches check their pulse and improve their performance and service to the community.
