Helen and Phil Rowe launch Christian music ministry, The Community

A NEW Christian music ministry is being launched in Norwich this spring. The Community has been founded by musicians Helen and Phil Rowe and will incorporate a recording studio, PA company, music publishing company and record label. The first release on the Community label will be the Helen Rowe album light Shot Through'. Said Phil Rowe about The Community, "The Community is planning to network with Christian artists across the country as the first stages of building up a much needed national touring infrastructure. The label is unique in that it doesn't sign groups to contracts, but rather takes on individual songwriters and musicians. When one records or tours the others become their band. This means that more than one act can be on tour at the same time, even to the extent of several playing on the same bill. The artists on the label also lead worship."
