DC Talk album to feature Free At Last The Movie
A NEW DC Talk album,
their first for three years, should be in the UK shops before
Christmas. Entitled 'Jesus Freak' it features a different sound for
the band and has been described as having a "more evident grunge
direction" than their last album 'Free At Last' which was recently
certified gold in the US with sales of a million units.
The DC Talk feature film
'Free At Last: The Movie' has also been premiered in America. A
performance documentary filmed at the band's 'Free At Last Tour', the
cameras follow the band as they travel to Los Angeles, Seattle, New
York, Nashville and many other cities. Concert sequences were shot in
35mm colour with behind-the-scenes documentary footage shot in 16mm
black and white. Highlights include a sequence shot at the Civil
Rights Memorial in Birmingham, Alabama; shooting at the Grammy Awards
in New York city and the Dove Awards in Nashville; footage from the
band's performance at the Billy Graham Crusade in Cleveland, Ohio; and
the making of the music video "The Hardway".
