Michigan's Ed Englerth releases 'Restless Ghost'
MICHIGAN-based singer/songwriter Ed Englerth has released a new album, 'Restless Ghost'. Guesting on the project is Ray White (Frank Zappa). Said Englerth, "When I write songs, I'm not thinking abut writing a folk song or a blues, jazz or rock song. It's more like journaling. I'm trying to capture concepts, emotions and impressions."

You forgot to mention that Ed also does all of the artwork on his album covers. But I agree, Restless Ghost is amazing. You can get it at http://cdbaby.com/cd/englerthed, or from the artist himself at www.bluesidedownstudios.com I think I like After the Garden best. It is a great historical ballad, the fall of man in Eden, the consequences, the sorrow... then Ed turns it around into a triumph of after the garden of Gethsamane (sp) ... "As we walk to the tomb, we carry such a heavy weight ... there's light at the end of the tunnel, the rock's been rolled away! After the garden..." The music is very emotional, and then triumphant. It's brilliant.
