Sydney-based New Empire say goodbye with final tour

THE AUSTRALIAN rock band New Empire, who have released three albums, the latest of which, 'In A Breath', was released in the US through Tooth & Nail, will be calling it a day after a final tour of their homeland. Said the band's frontman Jeremy Fowler, "After 10 years, three albums, thousands of friends and countless memories, we have decided it is time to call it a day for New Empire. The past 10 years have been by far the best, most rewarding (and the most challenging) times of our lives. This decision has not come lightly, and honestly there have been many times when I was fighting it and didn't want to close this chapter - but there's a real peace in knowing now is the right time."
