Bosh and guests united in charity album and tour
A NUMBER of special guests are featured on the latest album by Bournemouth's popular rock band Bosh. 'Fruit Tree' will feature [dweeb], Tom Whitman, Steve Leach and new artist Adam Oxborrow. All the tracks were recorded specifically for the project by producers David Evans and Mike Griffiths. 'Fruit Tree' will raise funds and awareness for The Trussell Trust who run 70 food banks across the UK feeding people in financial crisis; I*EAT, a charity helping people with eating disorders; and the United Youth Development Organisation (UYDO) which provides micro loans to young entrepreneurs in the Third World. The album will only be released in physical form with a limited edition run of 600 copies.
In the summer 'Fruit Tree' will be touring with The Trussell Trust
visiting theatres, corn exchanges and church halls mainly in the
Wessex region. Said Bosh's Mike Griffiths, "This is the sound
of a shift in how and why Christians are making music in this country
today. This is no longer about an industry, but about joining hands
with our brothers and sisters on the frontline of the kingdom and
standing with them to bear fruit that will last."
