Seven years on, Instinct Records releases 'Hitting The Ground'

A FILM soundtrack album, which took seven years to see the light of day, has been released in the UK by Instinct Records. 'Hitting The Ground' features compositions by mainstream rock singer and Christian Gordon Gano and features numerous well-known mainstream artists such as PJ Harvey, Lou Reed and John Cale. The project was written for a film, which never saw cinema release. Gano's band the Violent Femmes have developed a cult following since their inception in 1981. CR
