Rock pioneer Gene Eugene remembered on digital release
A DIGITAL only release commemorating the work of the late Christian rock artist and producer Gene Eugene has been issued by Brainstorm Artists Int'l. 'Remembering Gene Eugene' features the last three recordings ever made by Gene together with interview footage from members of his bands, Adam Again and The Lost Dogs, as well as many other musicians who were significantly influenced by Gene, either in-studio or on-stage. During Gene's last days on earth he recorded three covers, "Something About What Happens When We Talk" and "Famous Blue Raincoat" by Leonard Cohen, and "Coming Back To You" by Lucinda Williams. There are also interviews with Gene's Adam Again bandmates Paul Valadez, Greg Lawless, Jon Knox and Riki Michele; The Lost Dogs bandmates Derri Daugherty, Terry Taylor and Michael Roe; as well as artists like Ojo Taylor, Michael Knott, Michael Pritzl (The Violet Burning), The Prayer Chain and Jars Of Clay.
