Founding member of Southern gospel legends The Cathedrals, Glen Payne, dies

A FOUNDING member and long time bass singer with Southern gospel group The Cathedrals, Glen Payne, died of liver cancer on October 15th. Recently the veteran group had announced their retirement. Among the projects celebrating the group's legacy were a reunion video, a TV special, a double CD anthology and a three-day series of farewell concerts. Their final concert was on 17th September. CR
