Rev Nick Freund gets belated CD release

ANOTHER demonstration of the interest by the secular music collectors' scene in obscure Jesus music vinyl releases of the '60s and '70s is the release by Lion Productions of the CD 'The News Is You: The Sacred And Secular Music Of Nick Freund'. A review in Record Collector magazine read, "With enough folk to lend a Wickerman-type paganism to proceedings, the results are, depending on your take, either deeply majestic or just plain scary. . . God bothering on acid."
