Gwen McCrae returns to gospel roots for latest album
R&B DISCO diva Gwen McCrae, who scored a million-seller in 1975 with "Rockin' Chair" and had hits in the early '80s with "Funky Sensation" and "Keep The Fire Burning", has re-emerged as a gospel artist. Gwen's new album 'I'm Not Worried (Going Back To Church)' was produced by Haran Griffin and released on LewMar Records. Enthused Billboard, "The most delightful surprise is McCrae's no-doubt-about-it command of traditional, can't-sit-still, Sunday-morning gospel."
