Best selling rapper Trip Lee releases 'The Good Life'
FOLLOWING UP his 'Between Two Worlds' album, which was the first CD to simultaneously debut at number one on America's Top Christian Albums Chart and Top Gospel Albums Chart, rapper Trip Lee has released the album 'The Good Life'. He said, "It's my fourth solo album. I know everybody has an opinion of what the good life is, especially in hip-hop. Hip-hop has very strong opinions about what the good life is. So I wanted to do a whole album where I actually challenge people's ideas about what the good life is, and paint little snapshots of what I think it is. What it means to actually live the way we were created to live. I did that through a lot of different angles. I got a song called 'Robot' where I say that I'm not a robot and I don't have to be like everybody else. Basically, I've been freed not to live in the light of lies. I have a song called 'I'm Good' with Lecrae, talking about how we're rooted and grounded in something deeper."
