Wet Wet Wet's Graeme Duffin speaks about his Christian faith in Baptist Times.

SCOTTISH musician Graeme Duffin, who spent over 10 years as an unofficial member of pop music million sellers Wet Wet Wet, spoke about his Christian faith in the February 26th issue of Baptist Times. Glasgow-born Graeme, aged 46 and a member of the city's Queens Park Baptist Church, spoke about his years in the pop music spotlight, "For a Christian in the music industry, there can of course be many conflicts, many challenges on your integrity. It all comes down to what decisions you make, because there are plenty of opportunities for good as well as bad. I found that as long as I was focusing on my relationship with Christ, then everything else fell into place. I went to the after-show parties and met the fans, but I never forgot what was important, so I took pro-active steps to ensure I never jeopardised my faith or my family. The worst thing I could have done was to play games, you know, talk about my love for Jesus during the day then go to a party and pick up a girl and pretend its really okay, just harmless fun."

Graeme's 20 year old daughter recently released her first independent album, 'The Place Where We Are', under the name Esther.
