Greenbelt plans a more extensive programme for 1999 fest

HAVING ANNOUNCED a small profit in its 1998 festival, plans are now underway for the 1999 Greenbelt. To be held at Cheltenham Racecourse on July 29 - August 1, the festival will offer "a more extensive artistic programme suitable for all ages."

Meanwhile, also in planning stage is the Freestate festival targeted at young people, run jointly by Greenbelt and Spring Harvest, to be held on the August Bank Holiday weekend. CR
