Mojo magazine uncover obscure John Rydgren album
THE AUGUST issue of Britain's Mojo magazine features an article in the publication's Weird Record Club column on a 1967 Jesus music album 'Silhouette Segments'. The double album, spoken word obscurity was made by John Rydgren, director, producer, writer and broadcaster for the American Lutheran Church. Reads the article, "The LP's crowning glory is the 'Hippy Version Of Creation' with The Big Cat on his balcony, 'cranking off' days, talking to himself, getting the lights set up and blowing his mind looking for action, baby. Yeah, and then he flipped out and made humans."
