UK's Imperial signs with US Illect Records

A BRITISH hip-hop producer has been signed to American label Illect Records. Imperial, who has worked with such acts as The Procussions and J-Live, now resides in Cambridge, having been born in north Wales. Imperial said, "I'm really excited to represent the UK for Illect. It's a great opportunity to work on a ruck of new music with the artistic freedom and innovation that Illect allows its artists. I'm sure there'll be some transatlantic collaborations in the pipeline too." An instrumental project is currently in the works.
