New Inpop singer/songwriter James Clay releases debut album.
NEW AMERICAN singer/songwriter James Clay has a self-titled debut album released by Inpop Records. In Christian Retailing magazine the Missouri-based singer spoke about how he received a call from God. "He told me to quit playing in bars and join the worship band at church." Clay did and soon nationally known pastor and singer Mylon LeFevre visited his church, heard him sing and asked for a demo CD. Clay didn't have one, but a woman in the church gave him enough money to record one. The next time LeFevre visited, Clay was ready. "LeFevre took it back to Peter Furler, his son-in-law, and that is how I ended up recording with Inpop," Clay said.
