Baton Rouge's Deluge ready 'Unshakable' album

THE FOLLOWUP to the critically-acclaimed, self-titled debut by Baton Rouge-based rock worship band Deluge will be released in the US in April. 'Unshakable' is being issued by Integrity Music. According to the band's lead singer Jonathan Stockstill, the songs are an outpouring of the joy, anger, pain and hope that his family and church experienced over the past two years. These include the birth of Stockstill's first child, the loss of his young sister-in-law to cancer and his brother Joel's lifelong battle with kidney disease. Said Stockstill, "We went on a retreat, a time for us to pray, worship and write together, and songs just flowed out. All of the songs speak of where we've been and how we're pressing through, especially the title track which has really connected with our church and youth group." Two of the songs on the project are "Let's Worship", featuring guest vocalist Kari Jobe, and "Come In My Courts", inspired by Joel Stockstill's vision of his wife Amy after her death. CR
