Stella Awards decide to drop Kanye West's 'The College Dropout' from its ballot.
THE MUCH criticised decision by America's premier gospel event, the Stella Awards, to include the album 'The College Dropout' by mainstream artist Kanye West in its ballot, even though the album is littered with expletives and carries an explicit language warning symbol on its cover, has been overturned. The Stella Awards nominating committee had considered the CD for its "Jesus Walks" hit single, but the album has now been removed from the 2005 ballot.
