Kirk Franklin works on new album.

HOT ON the heals of the second run of the Hopeville Tour of the USA - the most successful gospel music tour of all time - multi-platinum selling gospel artist Kirk Franklin is currently in the studio working on a new album. It will be his first since 2002's platinum selling 'The Rebirth Of Kirk Franklin' which spawned a 2003 Song Of The Year Stellar Award for "Hosanna". The new album will be released in the US this summer and will be the first release on Franklin's new Fo Yo Soul Entertainment label which is going through the newly formed Zomba Gospel Group. Franklin has launched a new website, www.kirkfranklin.us, where he will be unveiling sneak previews of the album. CR
