Stockport's Freedom to be remembered in new book

THE CAREER of a grassroots Christian band from Stockport, Freedom, will be chronicled in a book published by O Books later this year. Two Pints Of Lager And A Bag Of Gospel Please is written by Freedom's Scott Fellows. Said the author, "This book is the story of the band and its 20 odd year slog around the pubs, clubs and church halls of northern England. I thought it was about time somebody wrote a warts and all book like this as I have never seen one like it in print before."
