AN APPEAL has been launched so that rock gospel pioneer Larry Norman can afford
to have vital heart surgery. The composer of such classics as "Why
Should The Devil Have All The Good Music" and "I Wish We'd All Been
Ready" collapsed during a tour of Holland last year. After his
airplane injury in 1978 the singer found insurance companies wanting
to exempt many aspects of coverage. In 1988 his insurance was
cancelled altogether. Said organiser Joe Norman, "Larry has never
asked to receive donations of any kind. Now Phydeaux is doing so for
Larry's sake. We want to try to save his life...If God leads you to
help Larry then send a cheque made out to Larry Norman Medical Trust Fund." Cheques
should be sent c/o Joe Norman, 1725 Montrose Avenue N.W., Salem, OR
97304, USA.
