US rockers Big Daddy Weave set for release of new album.
AMERICAN blue collar rock band Big Daddy Weave will have their third nationally released album 'What I Was Made For' released by Fervent Records at the end of July. Included on the album is the group's recent major Christian radio hit "You're Worthy Of My Praise" which also features BarlowGirl and was originally released on the 'Absolute Modern Worship' compilation. Another guest on the project is gospel veteran Fred Hammond, who duets with the group on "Killing Me Again". Said Mike Weaver, Big Daddy Weave's singer and songwriter, about the collaboration with Hammond, "The lyric is kind of hardcore, because it is about addiction, about dealing with habitual sin. The song is about this situation where somebody is sneaking around to participate in this secret sin and then Fred comes in on the chorus like the voice of God, saying, 'When I see you running away, it makes we want to cry/When I see you reminding me of the day I had to die/Don't you know that in my heart/I still can feel the pain/Because when I see you, it's like killing me all over again.'"
