Child shooting tragedy inspires hip-hop remix for Proxy

THE TRAGIC shooting of a 12 year old boy, Tamir Rice, inspired a remix of a song by Denver, Colorado-based rapper Proxy. "I'm Magnificent' is the song "Magnificent", which first appeared on the 2013 album of the same name. Said the rapper, "I wanted to remind us all of what magnificence looks like on an eight year old child. The humanity and beauty of it all. The aggression of the song matches the mindset of a child who sees the world as his oyster. He will not be defeated, in life or in death."
