Word INC purchases Marantha Music

WORD INC has purchased Maranatha! Music, the Californian company which pioneered both early contemporary Christian music and modern praise and worship. Under the agreement Maranatha will continue and develop masters to be released on Word's new praise and worship label Word/Maranatha.
The labels covered under the deal include Kids Praise Company, Colours, Arcade and Broken Records. In the UK all Maranatha! releases current and future will now be handled by Nelson Word who lost distribution rights for the company to Alliance Music six months ago. CR
