Grassroots band Medals call it a day

VETERAN Christian rock band Medals have folded. The band recorded an album 'Blue Blood' for Plankton in 1989 and were a popular gigging unit. Several of the band ex-members are already active in new projects. Guitarist Jon Horton and Clive Matthews (drums) have joined new soul/funk/swingbeat band Funky Nova while Keith Dixon will continue working with Christian charity The Wavelength Trust. CR
