Growth in Christian music by mass media

MASS MEDIA interest in contemporary Christian music continues to grow both in America and the UK. The latest initiatives include the forthcoming broadcast on BBC Radio One's 'Ministry Of Sound' CCM documentary; the publication in April of a Christian Music Special in influential music trade paper Billboard - including for the first time a profile on British artists/albums written by Cross Rhythms editor Tony Cummings; and the publication in the 22nd January issue of Time magazine of a comprehensive report 'Reborn To Be Wild' which documented the success of artists such as DC Talk, Michael W Smith, Kirk Franklin and Steven Curtis Chapman.
