1929 recording by the Bessemer Sunset Four featured in new Jim Carrey movie.

THANKS to a high profile new Hollywood movie a spotlight is now being shone on an obscure 1929 gospel recording. The track "Mighty Day" by the Bessemer Sunset Four is featured in the new romantic comedy Fun With Dick And Jane starring Jim Carrey and Tea Leoni. Columbia Pictures contacted British independent label Document Records to license the track for use in the film. Inspired by the unexpected publicity, Document have taken the track from its album 'Bessemer Sunset Four 1928-1930' and is releasing a gospel compilation 'Mighty Day' featuring 24 tracks from the golden era of gospel music.
