Broadcaster and journalist Mike Rimmer dies

BROADCASTER and journalist Mike Rimmer, who for years was the producer and presenter of the popular Rimmerama programme on Cross Rhythms radio, died in Birmingham on Wednesday 5th October after a long battle with kidney disease. During his years in broadcast and journalism he made thousands of radio programmes and conducted over a thousand interviews. Mike's memorial service, organised by Birmingham's Church Alive, will be held on Friday 21st October and a musical tribute celebrating Mike's life is now being planned to take place in Leeds in early December. CR
